![]() ![]() Both apps (and the website) shows the device is offline. I am using both (old and new) apps, but primarily the New app. If there are other device, check if any of them are malfunctioning, maybe take them offline and do a network repair and see if that helps. Schlage Z-wave Connect Camelot Touchscreen deadbolt lock - BE469. The BE469ZP lock is the Z-Wave Plus version of the Schlage lock. Z-Wave Plus devices can be updated if the manufacturer provides the firmware files. Open the IDE, click on My Devices, click on your lock and see if the lock is connecting directly to the hub or through other devices? If it’s directly then I’d back to the first line. The BE468/BE469NX locks are Z-Wave not Z-Wave Plus and thus are not update capable. Maybe try to reboot the hub and internet router if that’s causing latency related timeouts (unlikely but never hurts). Since everything else is working I’d wager a timing issue. Rather than hiding a spare key or giving them out each time you skip town. Since you’re getting notifications it’s unlikely you need to do this far but as a last option If that doesn’t work maybe try to factory reset the lock, this mean you’ll need to exclude and pair it again with SmartThings.Try to power it down and power it back up.Always helps just to test with new batteries. Anything below 50% and it can suddenly shut off due to load voltage drops. Now try the pairing sequence again in the Ring app. Additionally, Schlage Connect comes with a built-in audible alarm sensor that alerts you to activity at the door. Built from high-quality materials, this keyless deadbolt gives you the highest level of security at the main point of entry. ![]() This should successfully erase the z-wave programming in the lock. Schlage Connect is BHMA/ANSI Grade 1 certified, the highest residential rating. The lock will flash the check-mark, then press 0 on the keypad. The next step is to delete each code from the driver ui, then re add them, when this is done everything works like it does in any other lock. I have since re-excluded and re-included sort of successfully multiple times. Now go to your Schlage lock and enter the programming code, tap Schlage on the keypage + the 6-digit programming code. Check battery, on this model 60% is a good time replace it below which we start seeing trouble with lost packets/communication. Are there any tips for how to properly pair/configure a Schlage BE469 deadbolt with HA I successfully excluded it from SmartThings, then did a secure include in HA OS (using Z-Wave JS).I’m going to ask the obvious question, is there a buffering device within about 15ft of the lock? That’s a good way to cover your bases to start with since most mesh/timing issues can be resolved with this ![]()
